Our Cookbook Blog
Our Cookbook ~ What We Cook, is a compilation of every recipe we (Janice and Carissa) cook - recipes from our cookbook collections, our recipe boxes, and our heads! We set up this blog for friends and family who have our cookbook to let them see pictures we post of the recipes in the book, and also for us to note any corrections, revisions, or additions to What We Cook. We encourage people who are cooking our recipes to let us know how the recipes turn out and any suggestions they might want to make.
In addition, we will be sharing some of our new recipes (along with pictures) that are not in our cookbook. We hope you will help us out and test recipes and give us your comments.

Slow Cooker Lasagna ~ page 163
When you are in a hurry, this is a convenient way to have a quick lasagna--and it tastes as good as the real thing. This is a good dish to fix before church to have ready as soon as you get home. It only takes 2 to 4 hours in the slow cooker.
After you brown the ground beef and onions, and boil whatever kind of pasta you want to use (I used 2 types, a whole wheat shell pasta, and a white twisted pasta), then just layer the meat, pasta, spaghetti sauce, and the sour cream and cheeses into the slow cooker.
I fixed this for my grandsons, and there was not a word spoken as they ate it, which must mean they loved it!
