Wow, are these ever yummy! I am not eating dessert, or at least trying not to while I'm pregnant... but I failed miserable yesterday! These are just TOO good warm from the oven! My oven is old and uneven in it's cooking sometimes so, I cook mine for 6 minutes on a lower rack in my oven, then move them up to the next higher rack for the last 2 minutes...so 8 minutes total, and they are perfect. Don't overcook, you want the center to still be very soft when you take them out. If any of you bakers out there weigh your flour, I used 440 grams of flour. These freeze like a charm...which is good since you have to freeze them to keep yourself from eating too many! --Carissa
Our Cookbook Blog
Our Cookbook ~ What We Cook, is a compilation of every recipe we (Janice and Carissa) cook - recipes from our cookbook collections, our recipe boxes, and our heads! We set up this blog for friends and family who have our cookbook to let them see pictures we post of the recipes in the book, and also for us to note any corrections, revisions, or additions to What We Cook. We encourage people who are cooking our recipes to let us know how the recipes turn out and any suggestions they might want to make.
In addition, we will be sharing some of our new recipes (along with pictures) that are not in our cookbook. We hope you will help us out and test recipes and give us your comments.
