Our Cookbook Blog
Our Cookbook ~ What We Cook, is a compilation of every recipe we (Janice and Carissa) cook - recipes from our cookbook collections, our recipe boxes, and our heads! We set up this blog for friends and family who have our cookbook to let them see pictures we post of the recipes in the book, and also for us to note any corrections, revisions, or additions to What We Cook. We encourage people who are cooking our recipes to let us know how the recipes turn out and any suggestions they might want to make.
In addition, we will be sharing some of our new recipes (along with pictures) that are not in our cookbook. We hope you will help us out and test recipes and give us your comments.

Citrus Grilled Pork Tenderloin ~ page 178
I made the citrus grilled pork tenderloin last week and we LOVED it! I have to admit, though, I didn't grill it - our poor grill hasn't been used in so long that I think there are creatures living in it now, so I took pity on them and roasted my tenderloin in the oven. :) I roasted it at 350 degrees for an hour and fifteen minutes. That was a higher temperature than my roasted tenderloin recipe called for (what can I say - I was in a hurry!), but the tenderloin turned out perfect - tender, juicy, and flavorful, just like Carissa says in the recipe! You'll see in the picture above that I served it with the spinach and onion couscous (p. 104) and the squash dressing (p. 105) - I was inspired by Janice's recent posts about these two side dishes and they didn't disappoint! ~Cathy
